Katy Lackey, LCSW (She/Her/Hers)

Licensed Psychotherapist

Katy is a licensed therapist who works with individuals, caregivers, and families, from adolescence (11+) to adulthood. She approaches her work from a strengths-based perspective, to support her clients with the task of drawing from their own innate strengths and lived wisdom to move towards healing and personal growth. She also honors the vulnerabilities we all hold, and aims to support each client in finding new strengths, connections, and skills that may move them into a more fulfilling, balanced life.

She approaches her work and life with playfulness and curiosity, as well as a deep respect for the emotions and experiences we hold and walk through life with. Practicing yoga for the past 15 years, as well as being in ongoing therapy herself, has continuously illuminated how inspiring and life-affirming connecting to body and mind, and person to person is and can be. Ultimately she’s inspired by having the lived human experience of finding connection and peace with herself via sitting with and truly be heard, seen, and supported by another person. Therapy, yoga, dancing, music, writing, walking in nature are some of ways she fosters a sense of joy and aliveness in her life. She strives to offer authenticity in her relationships so others too can find connection and inspiration to experience embodied lives. She also actively partakes in consultations and continued education so that her world view remains flexible, grounded in now, creative, and up to date.
