Royanne Curtin, LMFT (She/Her/Hers) Therapist

It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is a space where change occurs. In working with my clients, I meet them where they are and relate to them in a manner that communicates that their way of being is understandable. As more corrective experiences unfold in therapy, my clients are able to improve their sense of self and relate to others and their environments in a more effective and meaningful manner. I specialize in supporting clients in eating disorder recovery, those navigating transitions, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, loss, and trauma; I support my clients in relationship development, crisis management, establishing coping skills, and increasing mindfulness.

I hold an integrative approach to psychotherapy and draw from a variety of modalities including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Behavioral Therapies (CBT/DBT), Systems Theory and Family Based Treatment (FBT). I am a passionate holistic healer who considers social and cultural backgrounds so I can tailor my treatment approach to each client's unique needs. In a session with me, clients will be met with warm empathy and containing directness.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist registered with the California BBS (# 137062). I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. My clinical experience includes working with teens, adults, and families in both private practice and treatment program settings.
